Technical Notes

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

  • Twin is a strong caustic beer-line cleaner designed to remove hard “beer-stone “deposits and build-up from beer-lines.
  • Does not contain hypochlorite that can taint PVC and multilayer lines.

DIRECTIONS

  • Turn line cooler off. Drain beer lines and flush with cold water.
  • Mix Twin at 150ml/10L not hotter than 30 Celsius.
  • Fill the beer lines and allow to soak or circulate for at least 30 minutes.
  • Thoroughly flush then rinse the lines with cold water. Use only tap water at all times.
  • Draw beer back through lines and only then turn the line cooler back on.
PRECAUTIONS
  • Wear full safety gear when handling.
  • Store in separate & secure area in original container.
  • Do not mix with other chemicals.
  • Rinse container when finished, recycle where possible.
  • Keep out of reach of children
WARNINGS
  • TOXIC AND CORROSIVE CONTAINS
  • SODIUM HYDROXIDE 25%
  • PROTECTIVE CLOTHING REQUIRED.
  • NOT SUITABLE FOR HAND APPLICATION.
  • ALWAYS ADD TWIN TO WATER, NOT THE OTHER WAY AROUND.

FIRST AID
  • Ingestion: drink 1-2 glasses of water. Seek medical advice. Do not Induce vomiting. Do not give anything by mouth to an unconscious or convulsing patient.
  • Skin Contact: rinse with cold water for 15 minutes and seek medical advice if irritation persists.
  • Eye contact: flush with cold water for 15 minutes and seek medical advice if irritation persists.
  • Inhalation: remove from further exposure. Seek medical advice if discomfort continues.
  • Spillage: contain spillage with absorbent and dispose in accordance with local regulations.
